　　据知名科技记者马克·古尔曼（Mark Gurman）的最新曝料，苹果资深高管丹·里奇奥（Dan Riccio）将于本月离职。

　　里奇奥曾担任苹果硬件工程高级副总裁，领导过几乎所有苹果产品的设计、开发和工程工作。2021年时，里奇奥转任新职专注于新项目——负责开发Vision Pro头显，直属于CEO蒂姆·库克，领导数千名工程师。

According to the latest revelations from well-known technology journal·ist Mark Gurman, · senior Apple executive Dan Riccio will leave this month.

Richio previously served as Apple's senior vice president of hardware engineering, where he led the design, development, and engineering of nearly all Apple products. 　　It is understood that Riccio joined Apple in 1998 and is responsible for leading the product design team. In 2010, he became Vice President of iPad Hardware Engineering. In 2012, he joined the executive team as the head of hardware engineering.

According to Apple, Riccio "has led the design, development, and engineering of almost every Apple product" — from the first-generation iMac to the iPhone series, the M1-chip-based Mac, and the AirPods Max, all of which were built by Riccio's hardware engineering team.

At an event at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on Wednesday, Riccio told students that he was nearing the end of his career at Apple. Riccio, who wants to be more involved in the university's engineering projects that bear his name, also talked about the birth of the first-generation iMac, saying that the iPhone X is the product he is most proud of.

Riccio said he has been thinking about retirement for five years and that Friday will be his last. He also discussed the leadership skills he learned while working with Cook and Jobs.

Riccio said some big tech companies have failed because they have become increasingly risk-averse. And Apple thrives because it remains nimble, dares to empower executives, and knows who to hold accountable when mistakes are made.

While Mr. Riccio is known for his controversial style, Mr. Gurman wrote, he did make a number of important decisions during his 26 years at Apple, including key hires and acquisitions that allowed Apple to advance the development and production of some of its major products.

During his leadership of the Vision Products Group, Riccio was one of the biggest advocates of Vision Pro, carrying the mission of bridging the gap between the department and other executives. For now, it's still an uphill battle for Apple to make the Vision Pro a hit.
